Veterans Day Event
Each year, the office of Glendale Mayor Jerry P. Weiers and Mayor’s Military Mission proudly host a Veterans Day Ceremony at the Glendale Public Main Library, inviting the entire community to come together in a respectful and heartfelt tribute to the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. This ceremonial event serves as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our veterans and the importance of honoring their courage, commitment, and service. Held in a public and welcoming setting, the ceremony features patriotic performances, guest speakers, presentation of colors, and moments of reflection that highlight the legacy and continued contributions of our military community. Veterans, families, active-duty service members, and civilians are all encouraged to attend, creating a meaningful space for unity, gratitude, and remembrance. Open to the public, this event reinforces Glendale’s unwavering commitment to those who have defended our freedoms and ensures that their service is recognized with the dignity and respect it deserves.
